Strasburg Rail Road Reviews

We went for one of the special event train rides with the kids. it was a lot of fun. Everything felt well organized, which made the day easier. The kids were excited the whole time, looking out the windows, running around a bit, asking a million questions. It was a little on the pricey side, not gonna lie. But overall, a really nice day out and something different to do.

I was excited for this train ride at first, and the kids were too, but that feeling faded fast. The ride felt much shorter than I expected for what we paid, and the seats were cramped. Our car was also loud the whole time, which made it hard to relax or really enjoy the experience. One minute I was trying to make the best of it, and the next I just kept thinking, “We drove all this way for this?” The kids got bored quickly, and by the end we were all kind of disappointed. I wanted it to be a fun little outing, but for us it just wasn’t worth the price or the drive.

I took my kids on the Strasburg Railroad, and it ended up being one of those little family memories I know I’ll hold onto. Seeing their faces when the old train pulled up was the best part, and the ride was longer than I expected, which made it feel like we really got our money’s worth.

The staff were friendly, parking was easy, and nothing about the day felt rushed or stressful. It’s not exactly cheap, but when I think back on the sounds of the train, the kids looking out the windows, and how happy we all were, I’d absolutely pay for it again.

I thought the place was clean overall, which I always appreciate. The facilities looked like they were being kept up with, and the bathrooms seemed well taken care of, not like they had been ignored all day or anything. Parking was okay too, and I didn’t have too much trouble figuring out where to go once I got there. The only thing I noticed was that a few areas felt a little crowded at times, so it wasn’t always the most relaxed feeling, but overall it was a decent and easy experience.

I was really hoping for more of an old-time, historic feel, but it felt staged and packed with people. The train itself was cool, and I tried to ask a couple questions to get more out of the experience, but it kind of felt like no one was really paying attention. For the price, I just expected more of a real history vibe.

I was really looking forward to this visit, but the staff made it a disappointing experience. A few of them came across as short and annoyed, even when we were just asking basic questions. It felt less like we were guests and more like we were bothering them. The train itself was fine, but the attitude from the staff really took away from the whole thing. I definitely wish I had read the reviews first before going

We took our two kids and they had such a good time on the train. The staff were really friendly, and it was easy to manage with little ones, snacks, and a stroller, which I wasn’t totally expecting. The ride itself was cute and just the right length. I did get a little confused during boarding because it got crowded and I wasn’t totally sure where we were supposed to go at first, but once we were on, everything was fine. Overall, a really nice family day out
